Hot Air Balloon

Spend a morning in a hot air balloon drifting over the beautiful island of Mallorca. Soar the Mallorcan skies with the organizers of the 2019 European Championship and sixth place finishers at the 2015 World Air Games. See stunning landscapes dotted with olive groves and windmills, imposing mountain ranges, scenic coastlines and offshore islands from an altogether different perspective. Flights last 60 minutes approximately. For the morning flight, meet at sunrise at the airport in Manacor to measure the wind and to decide the place to take off. You can chip in to help build the balloon. When it has been half-filled thanks to powerful fans, the flames of the burners break the silence of the morning and the sail starts to rise. Hop into the basket, check the radios, altimeter, GPS, compass, maps, etc… and take off. Metre after metre, we gently ascend into and can begin to contemplate the landscape below us. Soon you’ll see the rugged island of Cabrera and when we reach 300 or 500 metres, you’ll probably be able to see Menorca; villages, country houses and hills lie beneath us. You won’t feel the cold because we fly in and with the wind. Back on earth; enjoy a traditional air baptism with the awarding flight certificate followed by a buffet breakfast.
