Princes Island and Horse Carriage Tour
The best way to immerse yourself in a short time is to visit the peaceful Prince’ Islands. We will enjoy a cruise accompanied by the Seagulls to “Buyukada”, the largest island among the Prince’ Islands. During the cruise, we will view the charming sights along the way and the memorable view of the old Istanbul. On the way you'll be able to enjoy great views of the Topkapi Palace, Leander's Tower and Üsküdar on Istanbul's Asian shore. Büyükada is a popular resort for the locals in the summer with its white sandy beaches and fragrant pine forests, but it was once a place of exile for Byzantine Emperors (and Leon Trotsky) as well as a popular retreat for wealthy Istanbulites in the first half of the 20th Century. Prince’s Islands are summer places; away from the rush of the city they offer a different experience with their unique climate, vegetation and vehicle free roads. Only horse-carriages named Phaeton are allowed on Prince’s Islands. We will take a ride around the Island with the Phaeton and enjoy the sights of the island and its elegant mansions. When you explore some of the islands' quiet back streets, you'll feel as if you've found your way back to the late 19th century and an Istanbul that no longer exists on the mainland.

Magnificent Palace of Istanbul
This tour of the Ottoman Palace of Dolmabahce and the Yildiz Royal Gardens makes for a relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. After being picked up from your hotel at around 13:00 we will head straight for the impressive Dolmabahce Palace Complex. When the Ottoman sultans wanted to update their living space, they moved from the sprawling Topkapi complex on Seraglio Point to this more classically proportioned building on the Bosphorous shoreline. This three-storied palace built on a symmetrical plan has 285 rooms and 43 halls. The palace has survived intact with its original opulent Victorian-style decorations and furniture, abounding in crystal and gilt fittings. This guided tour is the only way to see the palace as it is otherwise closed to visitors. The Yildiz Royal Gardens were once part of the walled Imperial Gardens and were reserved for palace dwellers. Today the park is a wonderful garden complex with an exuberant collection of flowers, plants and trees gathered from all over the world. You will enjoy a stroll along one of the many pathways, maybe stopping for a Turkish coffee in one of the traditional Ottoman pavilions. Turkey is renowned for its leather goods and we will take you to an exclusive fashion show at a shopping outlet where you will have the chance to pick up some top quality articles at great prices before returning to your hotel at 17.30.
