Museum Island Tour - Private Tour Located in the heart of the city, right in the middle of the River Spree, Museum Island is host to five world-class museums. Join your guide for a journey back in time to find out how such an island came to exist from its first museum in 1830, and to discover how modern museum design has developed through the times. A Unesco World Heritage Site itself since 1999, the Museum Island is a unique collection of buildings.
