At Parque Aventura you will move from tree to tree through a series of challenging physical games and trails at different heights on what is an adrenalin-inducing treetop assault course, which is both fun and educational for children. Each assault course encourages you to develop a sense of responsibility as you move through each challenge under the guidance of the enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. The four courses are colour coded, with all open to children – as long as they meet each route’s height restrictions – and adults. The yellow one the easiest, while the purple and blue courses are medium-rated. The red is the hardest and you must be at least 1m40 (4ft 6in) to take it on. And fiinally to Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António, the border town with Spain, separated by the generous mouth of the River Guadiana.
