Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour from Beijing

 

After an early start, you will meet with your professional and helpful guide and take a drive to Great Wall, the longest piece of architecture in the world stretching from China’s east coast to China’s west desert, and used as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. You will arrive at approximately 9:30am to the Mutianyu section, located 75 km away from Beijing. This section was built around 1368, and it is known for its beautiful surroundings like dense woods and rich pastures that vary in colour depending on the seasons. You will hike up the side of mountain to the wall or take a cable car (at your own expense). where you will begin your walk over the wall passing several watch towers with offer different and jaw-dropping views. A round trip hike is about 6km in length and takes about 3 hours to complete. On the way down, you can either walk, or choose to take the cable car or toboggan (at your own expense). Once the hiking tour has ended, you will be able enjoy a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch before being transferred back to your downtown hotel in Beijing. Languages English
