Biertan and Sighisoara Tour

 

Spend one day in the heart of Transylvania! This tour will lead you on the steps of the medieval times: the visit of Biertan fortified church and the Sighisoara`s Citadell will make you breath the air of history. Crossing the Transylvanian plateau, we drive towards Sighisoara and we stop by in Biertan, a medieval village that served as the bishop seat for more than 300 years. Here we will visit its fortified church, a UNESCO monument, situated in the heart of the village. This place will give you a spectacular view over the surroundings. Next we drive to Sighisoara, the only inhabited citadel in South-Eastern Europe, also part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Beside its magnificent sites, you will have the opportunity to discover the birth place of our famous Dracula! So, don`t miss! We will climb the 177 steps of the Covered Staircase, until we arrive at the Church on the Hill. We return to Sibiu at 18:00. We will leave you in front of the hotel in which you are checked in.
