Zubara north coast tour

 

Our North Qatar Tour is meant for discovering the heritage and history of Qatar. The country's natural sea port Al Khor is mainly used by the fishermen. In the Al Khor Fort Museum you will learn more about the history of pearl hunting and fishing, which were the main occupations of the Qataris in the old days. Later, we will visit the oldest mosque in Qatar and the wild mangroves in Dhakira. You will then be taken to the Al Zubara Fort at the northwest coast of Qatar. The fort was build after an attack on Zubara City, the remnants of which can still be seen in form of destroyed and deserted houses and mosques near the beach. Languages English.
