Paradise Valley- Half day levada walk

 

This is an easy half day walk amongst the valleys and mountains, along the “levada da Serra do Faial” and located near the highest village of the island, Camacha (700 mts). The levada walk begins in Vale Paraiso and finishes in Rochão. Along the way you’ll see cultivated terraces, spectacular gardens and beautiful views over the village of Camacha. The beautiful smell of pine trees really adds to the sensory feel of this peaceful walk. Duration Approx. 2.5 hours Pick-up time For hotels in Machico: between 8:15am – 8:30am Caniço: between 8:30am – 8:45am Funcha: between 9am– 9:15am A tolerance of 15 minutes should be given, from the stipulated pick up times between hotels.
