With diving masks and flippers, accompanied by qualified instructors, you will visit the Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia. You will be fascinated by the sight of mosaics and the remains of ancient villas. In the Gulf of Pozzuoli, located in the Phlegraean Fields, is the Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia, one of the most exciting diving spots in the world. Buildings from the Roman era, now submerged due to bradyseism, are still clearly visible in these waters. Dive sites of unique interest are to be found in the waters facing the Centro Sub Campi Flegrei. You can dive among the remains of Portus Julius, the splendid walls of Villa dei Pisoni, the mosaics of Villa a Protiro, the towers of Secca delle Fumose, all surrounded by clouds of fish. The Phlegraean Fields Diving Centre is a founding member of Assodiving Flegreum, a consortium that manages underwater visits to the Baia Underwater Archaeological Park on behalf of the Naples and Caserta Archaeological Superintendency.
