Ancient Naples

 

The heart of the ancient city of Naples testifies to the evolution of the city, from its first settlement of the Greek period to the Baroque period. Streets, squares, churches and monuments are a treasure trove of artistic and historical treasures of exceptional importance. We will discover ancient sites such as the Church of the Gesù Nuovo, the Monastic Complex of Santa Chiara and the famous Cappella di Sansevero * (entrance not included) custodian of the Veiled Christ. The walk will take us, even to the area famous for the Neapolitan Crib, San Gregorio Armeno; without forgetting the Cathedral Church of Naples: the Duomo, guardian of the Chapel of the Treasure, of the ampoule with the blood of San Gennaro * entry into the Chapel, will be carried out by our guides, only if the queue for access requires less than 30 minutes of waiting time.
